Activity Forums Apple Motion simple beginner question

I am new to Motion… (primarily an After Effects user.) How in the heck do I zoom in and out on the timeline using keyboard shortcuts? Rolling my mouse down to the lower left corner and scrolling that zoom scrubber thingy every time I wanna increase/decrease the view on the timeline is cumbersome and time consuming. Please help me… this has been driving me crazy. Thanks in advance and since I am new to this program, you fine folk will probably be hearing a lot more from me. – Justin Gray

Z key- manual is your friend…

Well alright… Z, of course, selects the zoom tool and can be used in the canvas. My question was how to zoom in and out in the timeline. I have gone through all the keyboard shortcuts for the timeline in the manual and have found nothing for this action.

That’s a good question- have not found a shortcut for this myself.
