    Hi all

I am in PAL land and i have realized that up till now i have been working at the correct framerate but with a timecode base of 30! Now i am pretty sure that this has not actually effected my footage/output renders (or has it?), but i am curious to get some more info on this topic.

If i have been working on a timecode base of 30 and i switch to 25 mid project, will this screw things up? Can this effect the footage and my final renders?
Again, apologies for what must be an idiotic question, but sometimes you just dont notice these little things…

    Cheers!

No, the timebase is merely a means of displaying the right info. Lucky for you AE itself thinks in absolute time, so if you have a keyframe at 1 second, it will stay put.

Thanks man, thats exactly what i thought. Now at least it will be easier for me to match up footage with Maya renders.

    Cheers!
