I tried increasing the size of the “Side Smoke Test” (from the “gunfire_01” library) so that I could render it out to fill most of a frame with a resolution of 2048×1556.

But, as I increased its overall size the smoke animation didn’t scale with it. Instead of staying ‘in front’ of the muzzle flash, it overlapped the same area where the flash occured. How should I approach scaling this emitter’s overall size and retain the orientation of the smoke animation to the muzzle flash?

    Thanks in advance.

Rather than increasing the Size graph, try adjusting the Zoom graph instead. It should scale up all parts of the emitter together.

    Perfect! Thanks, Elvis.

I’ve also been working with the single muzzle flash particles and I’m trying to create a sequence of multiple flashes. But, I’m having a hard time keeping the flashes the same length and with consistent separation between flashes. I also want to slightly vary the shape of the flash with each separate flash. Which parameters should I animate for this kind of effect?

    Thanks.
