    Hi

I’m working on an MC6 project and I want text to scroll in from the side (like this from 23 seconds https://youtu.be/H8oLlx11OEM?t=23s). I’ve prepared some 5760×1080 .pngs in Photoshop and intended to use keyframes to have them scroll, but neglected the fact that MC will resize them.

What’s the best way to this?

    Many thanks

You have to copy the text into title tool and do it from there. Press the crawl button and the text will behave as you want. If you want a bar behind the text as in the video, use the paint tool on a layer below the text to draw it in.

Great! Thanks Paddy; I’ll try that.

I’m hoping to use Ropa Sans font-face and have already prepared a very nice background which I’d like to use on the layer below.

I assume it’s possible to do these with your solution?

If the font is in your library’s font folder then it should show up in title tool, .otf fonts can have problems, I find some work and some don’t, .ttf fonts always work. If you have a background already made then that will work fine.
