    guys,
anyone have experience with si2k 3d files(mov) on resolve ????

i just imported a few clips into resolve the footages were flipped horizantally and vertically . but seems to be fine on quicktimeplayer and on gopro cineform studio. does resolve support embedded 3d files???
and how are we going to grade and make changes to the left and right?
also is importing left and right seperately is the only option to grade on resolve?

I’ve only done discreet stereoscopic. But have done mirror rigs before, and you need to flip and sometimes also flop one camera to align correctly. This is done by going into solo instead of gang in the stereo mode, then adjusting the incorrectly aligned camera. Then you can jump back into gang.

Here is a bit more info on working with stereo muxed cineform (the format that si2k records).

You can add the same clip in the Left/Right folder, and choose the Left/Right track to decode.

Also the HFlip/VFlip options are there in the media pool to control the flip.

    thanks rohit and jaun

it does not seem right to me to do all the flips and flops although i had done it. i was wondering when quicktimeplayer can play the mov rightly without flips and flops why cant my beefy linux system do it ???.

is it some codec decoding issue ???
