    Would hooking up a Shure SM58 Cardioid Microphone to my wireless sennheiser LAV receiver/transmitter work? and if so what cable would you recommend?

    Yes it will work. You’ll need a cable with a female XLR to 3.5mm TRS locking connector wired unbalanced. I make and sell custom cable assemblys at reasonable prices. For more information contact me at: audioetc@bellsouth.net.
