    Hi All,

I’m making a showreel that will draw from lots of different projects. What’s the best way to do this? Should I just output a reference file from each and then import those?

    Thanks!

That’s pretty much what I do. I try to keep a QT movie of anything interesting that I work on.

Use media manager to consolidate the project, then you can make changes later

    How did your showreel go?
Im just about to start mine,

Looks like the best way is to make quicktime masters (apple pro res) and just import those (and use media manager to delete clips from projects you know you wont use – keep some extra stuff that you didnt use).

bit of a nightmare… but as with most edits, the worst part is starting it and having that ‘wtf am I going to do with all this footage?’!
