Should I use Premiere or Flash?
I have a new project that involves taking a Powerpoint presentation and converting it over to something more powerful, like Premiere. I will also be adding some special effects that bring it closer to broadcast quality video/animation, so I may use After Effects as well.
I went ahead and took all of the images/video files out of Powerpoint and put them into Premiere. The final video needs to be 1280 x 720 and 30 fps at about 10 minutes long, so the file sizes were large, and took several hours to export to avi.
I recreated this project in Flash, and it takes only minutes to export, and the file size is much smaller. (These videos are going to display as loops on monitors in Doctors waiting rooms, the monitors are connected to a computer at the Drs office). Im curious if it would be a good idea to do this video compilation in Flash, or if Flash has limitations with this kind of thing that would make Premiere/After Effects a better choice?
