    Should I create a proxy for a layered psd?

    I have a 70 layer psd and I need to animate each of the layers. Should I import the psd and create a proxy file? Does that help at all with still images?

    If that was me i would get Motion for $50 and use Motion to do the animation.

    IDK off hand if FCPX can import and see the layers – I guess I will have to look that up.
