  • Should i be finishing my audio in Final Cut Pro instead?

I am new to adding sound effects and such to my videos, and so i am currently adding some effect sounds like swooshes and such in AE.

Then it occured to me after reading other posts…….maybe i should be exporting the movie as a quicktime and then do the audio effects and music editing in Final Cut Pro.

Is this a good idea or standard practice or does it not matter if i do it in AE?

I find it easier in FCP — faster feedback.

I prefer to do all editing, be it sound or video in an editing program. Much faster and much more effecient. I then take the edit (sound & video) into AE for the fun bits 🙂

Steve might have it right……faster in FCP. no need to ram preview.
