    Should I always analyze the audio and video I import?

    I wonder if anyone here, as a general rule, analyzes their clips on import. I don’t always use the data. But I don’t imagine it takes up too much room. Should I just always analyze it as a general rule? Is there any reason not to?

    I don’t analyze because it takes too long. If you generally like the results, then I guess it would be fine.

    I prefer to analyze on what I need, but I often work with a large amount of footage, and I’d rather save the cycles until later, if at all.

    Nope never do. Doing it per needed clip is more than fast enough for me.

    I work 99% RAW mode so no.
