  Shots on P2 run to speed but when imported to FCP they are 1/2 speed

  Hi I am using a panasonic P2 202 for the first time. I shot on auto and at 720P 25P . On playback from the camera it runs to speed (25FPS) and i can hear the sound – looks good. When I upload to FCP X it runs at half speed and the sound is there for first 2 secs (its runs to speed for first two secs) then there is no sound! I have tried to duplicate the shooting settings but cant get it to do this again. Other material i import from the camera has been 50P.

  Any ideas where the problem is – is it a camera setting i am unaware of that confuses FCP or is it a FCP setting???
