Shotcut to Address Bar in Safari

Hi all!

So, not to sound like a Microsoft fanboy (because, at heart, I am), but using an internet browser on a PC is quite streamlined by the keyboard shortcut alt+D, which allows you to quickly switch to the address bar and type such wonderful urls as “creativecow.net.” I have yet to find a similar keyboard shortcut in an OSX browser – thoughts?

apple-l – all shortcuts for the app are listed next to the related menu item…

(in this case, open location under file)
