I’m just going to assume you shot DVCPro HD on the cards so use that for your format.

[david edri] “what should i export it to?”

    Export for what?

[david edri] “for dvd that going to be uploaded to a web site?”

A DVD uploaded to a website? Never heard of that one.

Panasonic HVX cameras do not shoot HDV. They shoot DVCPro HD. The newest models shoot AVC Intra. So no, HDV is not good because you’ll be adding another layer of compression to your video.
