Shot in 24fps but editing timebase is 29.97. xtreme interlace.
Shot footage on Canon xha1, 24fps, standard definition. Imported without a problem, however, in sequence settings, editing timebase says its at 29.97. When I export timeline using quicktime conversion, my footage looks extremely interlaced. Is this because of the difference in FPS? or am i exporting wrong?
Any tips would help.

Read this. Always in SD (and sometimes in HD) when you shoot 24p, it’s always 29.97
