  • Shortening FCPX Transitions in Motion

In Motion 5… is there a short cut to shortening a transition from FCPX while still maintaining all of the keyframed properties. For example… the “Center” transition in FCPX is 5 seconds long. I need it to be one second. I know I can shorten it within FCPX, but I have to shorten every single one in the time line and there are about 50 (or there will be if I can find a way to do this automatically.) Changing the transition length in preferences has no affect. I have it set to one second, yet every time I add “Center” the transition is still 5 seconds.

Shortening the transition in Motion is burdensome. So many layers. It is a 5 second composition, I need it to be 1 second.

I don’t understand why I can’t copy a transition in FCPX and paste it multiple times with one click.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
