If the command sits on any menu you can either:

Add or change the shortcut to it by messing with the shortcuts file. SEE HOW

If it ain’t there you can add a script to run it. Scripts can run any menu command. You can then place that script on AE’s script folder and you’ll be able to add a shortcut to it using the above method. You should google search for that.

If it is only a context right click option. There’s no way you can add a shortcut to it as far as I know. (but this is not your case).

    Thanks for guiding.

Unfortunatelly searching the internet did not came up with more than “re-arranging” the shortcuts!

I found nothing concerning the create a shortcut which is not provided!
In case you came out with something I will be more than HAPPY.

    Thanks

I wrote one to run the command. (its just a call for the item, you can edit if you ever need to do another).

You should place it in your AE folder under “\Support Files\Scripts”. The reason it has a “01” before its name is for it to be the first file on the folder. This way AE sees it under File->Scripts.

All scripts there can be shortcutted under the “ExecuteScriptMenuItem01” in your shortcuts file.

Make sure you don’t add a duplicate shortcut for it. Otherwise it will take precedence over this.
