  • Short video problem when transferring Vegas to DVD Architect

I am having a problem when I try to render an AVCHD video to a DVD-widescreen format from Sony Vegas and ask it render and then tranfer the rendered video to DVD Architect. I only get a fraction of a second appearing in DVD Architect, but the video seems to render fine in Sony Vegas. It seems to be a problem when transferring from Vegas to DVD Architect.

With the video in Vegas, I’m hitting “Project”-“Make Movie”-Burn it to DVD”-“DVD” … files are specified…then when the render finishes, I click “Send to DVD Architect”, but when it shows up in DVD Architect, it only has 0.39 seconds (that’s right, less than a second) of time on the timeline.

Any ideas as to what settings might be messed up, I’d appreciate your help!

There is a check box in the render screens that says something like “render loop regions only”. If that is checked, you must be sure that your “loop region” includes the entire video. That is always my last step before starting a render.
