    Hi guys,

I used to be a camera assitant with 35mm cameras like Arri and Pana. After leaving the camera dpt as focus puller I decided to work in post doing compositing with combustion. (big Change)

My last Music Video was done with a Panasonic dvx 100 and Combustion. My editing software was and Avid xpress pro HD. I was the director, editor, VFX, producer, colorist, etc.

As an independent director, I like to embrace the new technology and the new little cameras but is driving me nuts all the pro-sumer hdv cameras coming out.

    Several questions here.

    Gabriel,

As for question #1, you will pull a better key with the HVX200 at 4:2:2. There is a long thread arguing about a seemingly minor issue in keying with this camera at the Cow P2 Forum. Most agree, however, that great keys can be achieved. I’ve done many with my HVX200 and find them to be very clean if you light the scene correctly and keep all green spill away from the subject.

    Good luck!

    Thanks Joe.

I will have a great DOP so that’s the challenge, make something looks great with a prosumer cam.

Do have any of your jobs with green screen online so I can see it?

    Thanks again.

I saw the test of the HVX vs EX1 and for sure the sony looks much better.
