    Hi Cow friends!
    I’m mixing the audio for a short film, and have heard that it’s not best to try and push mixdown levels to peak near 0db, but rather aim for peaks at -12, with average around -20 db… is this true?

    If you use broadcast standards of reference tone at -20DBFS and nothing hotter than -10DBFS you’ll be fine.
