  • Short cut to changing duration of multiple clips in the same sequence

    Hi Everyone,

I have a sequence of clips of varying durations in a timeline. I would like to standardise the duration of each clip to 1 second. However, when I highlight and “change duration” those that sit between clips in a gap that is less than 1 second won’t extend as there isn’t enough space before the next clip begins…

I understand what Premiere is doing here – preserving the length of the sequence as a whole – however, I wondered if there was a way to bypass this. Short of moving each clip individually in order to make the space to allow the duration to be extended, I can’t find a way to do this. I’ve got a lot of clips and that would take a long time!

    Any help gratefully received.

    Thanks,

    Nick
