    Hello All,

Has anyone here had any trouble shooting video with led walls in the background? I personally haven’t, but I wanted to reach out and see if there might be a special situation to look out for.

    Thank you very much

You might see flicker from the refresh rate of the LED’s. So have a camera with an adjustable scan rate, Sony calls theirs “clear-scan”, but most camera makers have something similar in their higher-end units.

Also, this used to be far more difficult when nearly everything was CRT tubes playing NTSC standard interlaced content back.

Today, most flat panel screens are progressive and if you feed them appropriately, you often find little to no scan line issues.

Basically, a quick test with the camera (and a dependably accurate monitor and/or scope tool to judge things with) and you may discover you have no issues at all!

Things have REALLY changed in this area in the past decade or so.

    Good luck.
