  Shooting via firewire from a Sony V1U to FCP

  Hi guys, I’m new to HD and I’m all messed up. I want to shoot from my Sony V1U tapeless directly to FCP 6. Could it be possible? I have a MacPro 2.66 Dual with 9 GB of Ram.
  I need the capture now settings. I will like to do the capture now in HDV. Is it possible? I also need the settings for the sequence. My final output will be SD DVD for broadcast.
  Please, can someone help me on this. I’ve been for two weeks on this dilemma and it’s a real pain in the neck.
  I also have a second Sony V1U shooting at the Sony HHD in HDV mode. But when I copy the files to my mac, there’s no way may make sees them. I do see the DV files when shooting in DV mode but not the HDV’s.

  Help, please.
