Hello and thanks for taking the time to answer my question.

We shot a short filming using a Cannon XL-2 with the 16:9 and 24p settings to give the best film quality look and it looks nice.

Today I was playing around and found some settings which caught my eye, under:

    < Sequence Settings > — < Advanced >

    Which lead me to:

    < Compression Settings >

Two options poped out at me.

    < Frames Pere Second > 23.98, 24, 29.97, 30 etc…
< Scan Mode > Interlaced or Progressive

Since we filmed in 24p mode shouldn’t we be using 24 FPS or 23.98 and Progressive Scanning, instead of the default 29.97 FPS and interlaced scan options?

Please if you could help be as detailed as possible and thanks for the help.
