Shooting in 1080/50p when delivering on USB only?
I have to deliver a project on USB only, so I was going to record in 1920×1080 50p and render out using the Vegas MainConcept MP4 1080p 25 PAL render templates and deliver it as an MP4.
My project setting is 1080p/50 (double PAL)
I can shoot in 1080/25p, but I get the jaggies when panning too fast, whereas I don’t with 1080/50p. I can shoot in 1080/50i, but whilst the motion appears smoother, it lacks crispness that 50p offers.
I have seen YouTube videos saying only shoot 50p for footage you only intend to slow down, and by default I should stick to 25p, but then I get the jaggies when there is any significant motion in the shot.
What do you guys record in and deliver if USB or Internet is your only delivery means?
