Shooting a beauty white spot – Is green screen an option ?
I’m about to shoot a spot that had a “bathroom theme” i.e. – white ceramics, big old bathtub, towles etc.
I’ll also adding some graphics and 3D elements in AE.Will it be probematic to shoot the spot on green screen (we’re using DV) ?
I fear most of green spills on the white surfaces and unwanted reflections.what do you suggest ?

If you’re shooting white porcelain it is going to reflect green from everything and will be a mess. there is just too much gloss.
I was given a greenscreen shot of a white toaster oven to try and key out. we had to re-shoot.

If you’re shooting the white bathroom stuff in an infinity cove (white rooms, curved walls) then you’re proably going to be able to use animated masks with a feather on them. It’s a lot less work than full rotoscoping.
