Shooting 4:3 with Sony Ex3
Hi Guys,
Apologies if this is a dumb question but i have been asked to shoot 4:3 by some clients, as it is for foreign broadcast. I have always shot 16:9.
Is there any work around with the Sony EX3 that i can deliver 4:3 rushes to the client. I have done a few jobs that i have edited myself so i have just put the 4:3 frame guide on and then altered the aspect ratio in FCP. However ideally they want 4:3 rushes to edit with.
Would so appreciate any help or advice!

EX3 only shoots HD. HD is 16×9 only. So, no, you can’t shoot 4×3 with the EX3. You’ll have to convert and export 4×3 SD on post.
