  Shooting 24P in Europe

  I’m going to buy an HDV camera to take to Europe for a job. Overall my choice is the Sony HVR-V1U which offers a 24 p framing option, but the HVR-Z1U is PAL switchable. Does anyone have any experience with this? I know that flourescents are the primary enemy. How big an issue would flicker be at 24 fps vs. 25 fps?
