I am planning to shoot 16mm film b-roll to accompany Varicam captured DVCPRO HD 720p24 a-roll. I would liike to keep all elements in the same format. My concern lies in the telecine film to tape transfer. As I understand it, the DSR 1200a can only record in 60fps. IF this is the case
how does one combine the 2 frame rates in the FCP project without headaches? Is there a process we need to follow in the telecine bay, or is the frame rate conversin easily done in FCP.

    Thanks for the response.

If you edit 24p you would just run the 16mm telecine footage through CinemaTools. Make sure to have it telecined to 720p not SD. An HD accelerator card would help you too.

Thanks for the reply. Where can I find both Cinema Tools and the HD Accelerator card? Also, the telecine house only had HDCAM and it is on tape, do you forsee any problems with that?

    Thanks in advance,
