Since I upgraded to AE 7.0, I have noticed when I apply Trapcode’s Shine (my favorite plug) to an adjusment layer, I get some really strange results now. It seems like there is a phantom clipping problem. It almost seems like it is duplicated it effect on an alpha object twice. Once on the object (where it should be) and then again on another part of the screen (usually offset to the side). Has anyone had this problem?

    Regards,

Only Particular and Echospace have updates. I have used Shine on AE7 with no problems.

I had the same problem as OP and checked their site and the Shine version (along with 3 other plugs) that’s on there was nerwer than the ones I had, I downloaded it and the problem went away (along with the crashing when using the plugin)

So I’d check your versions, just to make sure 🙂

Thanks for the heads up.. I already had that version on my systems which might explain why I had no problems.
