A question about removing shimering effect that you see on the screen when using stills in video or slide show. I’m using Sony Vegas 8. It seems to happen on stills with straight lines. For instance a picture of a house with shingles shimmers while a picture of a tree is fine. I expect this is because the tree bark is rough and without straight lines. Anyway, how do you get rid of it? Shows up on TV screen as well as computer screen.
    Thankyou.

I use Reduce Interlaced Flicker (on switches) for every still and always render with BEST settings … having very good results…

    good luck
