  • Shifting multiple layers in comp panel

    Hi,
I’m very new in AE, have a basic question (hope so).
I’ve almost 100 animated layers which are moving (animation) from middle of the comp panel to right side of the panel. Now I want to move all the layers (with their keyframe as it is) to left side of then panel so i can get some extra space at the right side of the panel. I can add manually a constant value to X value of position coordinate but for 100 layers & all the position keyframes, it will be very tedious and error prone.
Any suggestion for shortcut? expression or script?
    Thanks in advance.
    Jit

Couldn’t you just select all layers (ctrl+a), press “p” to open up the position property and then tweak the position for one of the layers? All the other layers should just follow…I’m not sure about those keyframes, though, they might get in the way.

I think you mean you want to offset the animation. in your case, you could parent all the layers to a null layer, then move the null, then you can delete the null and the change will reflect to the keyframes.
