    Hi guy!
I am running into something that has never happened to me before…
I am color correcting some shots.
    I do my things… color correct them… I m happey with it.
And when I press play… the brightness in the canevas increases by … a lot
On my other projects, there is no shift in brightness between the play / stop state.
I tried to tweak the sequence settings… but everything seems to be in order. (rendering the YUV space at highest quality, rendering coded same as sequence, using apple prores LT, luma warning turned off)

    any ideas?

    Thanks!

You can’t judge quality from your computer monitor.

    I am not judging quality.
I have 6 final cut sequences.
ALL of them shot with a canon 7D under the same light conditions.

ONE and only one of these sequences increases drastically in brightness when I hit play and returns back to normal when I hit pause.
    The other sequences behave nicely.

I say this is a settings problem that i messed up and that i am enable to fix. Not a quality problem….

That one sequence most likely does not have settings that match your video. Do a copy all from that sequence and paste into a duplicate of one of your other sequences after deleting all of it’s clips.

    Thanks for your response.
I did create a new sequence. I dragged some of my files in it so that FCP asks me if I want my sequence settings to match my clips. I said yes.
    but the problem persists.

And that s not even something exotic!
