Sharing the info
Just started playing with a new Aja Kona LH system and found some things worth passing along.
While FCP worked just fine (5.1.1) on a new intel Mac pro thingy I could not get any SD or HD out to any monitor.
Things I learned and thought might be valuable to everyone who might have a similar system.
The LH must be in the 3rd slot.
Apple released a firm ware upgrade on Tuesday which seems to specifically address Mac Pros with more then 3 gigs of RAM.
Aja tomorrow will be releasing a new software upgrade to address the issues I had today.
So, its not you its the folks at Apple and Aja, but, those guys are on their game and everything will be alright by Thursday.

Have you told fcp to use the kona card for output?
Do you have the correct settings in the KONA control panel?

Clark took my hand and walked me through the whole trip. He was a gentleman and I sense that everything will work once we do what he told us to do.
