sharing projects between G5 and intel???
I edit at work with a year old G5. It’s pretty decked out. Well, my workload has grown to where I have to get a lap top to do some work from home. Here is my question… Will I be able to store all of my media on an external drive and edit a singel project from both the G5 and an intel Macbook Pro if I have the universal version of FCP installed on both?

Yup. You’ll be fine.
Just make sure that Final Cut is really the same version and not just very close.
But as long as the Final Cut numbers match up a Mac is a Mac.
