I have multiple different AE projects that use the same compositions. After spending hours updating a comp in one project I don’t want to have to repeat all of that work. Does anyone know if it is possible to take a composition from one project in After Effects 7.0 and import it into another AE project?

If you File>Import>File then click on the aep that contains the comp, you want to use, AE will open that project in a new folder, then you can delete other comp if you want.

You can also drag the aep into your new comp.
