I have a ProRes 4444 project with only ProRes4444 media. When I try to export a section from the project, and I select ‘Source’ as the video codec, the only option it gives is Prores 422. Not even Prores 422 HQ. It does in fact render to this codec when exported. No proxies have been created. No optimized media. and I’ve double checked, and my source media is indeed Prores 4444.

    Anyone else notice this?

“Source” doesn’t mean source footage, it means the render properties of the Project.

Hit command-j, click Modify settings, and change the render format to 444.
