    Could anyone help me?

When I slow down my wedding video footage it gets ridiculously choppy. Even when I put the Smooth Cam filter on the footage is doesn’t help at all?

Any ideas? I’m pretty sure all my settings are correct….

    Hi Laura,
    Are setting “Frame Blending”?

    Laura,

depending on what frame rate the video was shot, and how much you are slowing the footage down, it will get choppy even with frame blending. Try slowing it down less, so that FCP doesn’t have to duplicate so many frames.

    hope you solve your problem.

Just a very big puzzle mister man.

In After Effects there’s a plugin from Re:Vision called twixtor that I think will do tweening for the missing frames. Don’t know if it works in FCP too.
