I’ve built a 3d scene that has collapsed transformationed pre-comps of 3d objects, created with AE 3d layers, with lights and I can’t get shadows.
I see that when the collapse button is checked on the pre comps, which is the only way I can gets these objects to be 3d in the main comp, I don’t get cast shadows.

Is there a way to get shadows cast by a collapsed transform layer?
Is there a work around for this?

I figured it out- you must have the cast shadows turned on for the layers in the pre comp.

    Thank You
