    Hi All,

i am working on a project thgat has a lot of old photos which all need borders – sort of a photo album that animates. The client prepared a lot of the stills in photoshop and used layer effects to add the borders – cant use them in 3D layers. So I just went through and put white solids behind and parented them to the stills to achieve borders but then when “casts Shadows” is activated in material options it puts a weird corrugation through the border and still. What am I failing at?

I got rid of it all with a work around and now I cant manage to recreate it – soon as I get it again! I just thought maybe it was a known issue.

    cheers

Maybe the layers were too close together in Z-space.
