  • Shader Effector to keep Cloner Obj (w/ Random) within boundaries?

    Hello all,

I’m building (what should be) a simple animation with a camera flying around/ past a globe with basic building shapes popping up as it flys by; Essentially it’s a reveal of sorts. I have the buildings all set up with a Cloner Object and Random Effector distributing them across the globe and I’m using a Plain Effector on the Cloner Object to wipe across in tandem with the camera — picture seeds sprouting up out of the ground as the camera flys by them. In any case, I believe I should be able to use a Shader Effector to essentially create boundaries in which the Cloner Object will generate buildings (to limit them to the continents), however I have been unsuccessful in setting it up to do that. Does anyone have any idea how a Shader Effector can be used to accomplish this, or if it is even possible?

    Many Thanks!
