    Hi-

My client is requesting, no, insisting that I provide movies with the following specs.

    > 1024 x 768
    > WMV format file
    > Streamed at 2Meg Stream or better.
    > Note: Do a 2pass encode.

With all the presets for rendering Windows Media files, I cannot seem to find settings or options that will give me “2Meg Stream” and “2-pass encode”. I have AE6.5Pro. Do I need a codec that I don’t have? Is there another standalone program that can easily do the conversion for me?

I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks a lot!!

I couldn’t find a 2pass setting in AE, so unless someone else finds it I would suggest a program like Windows Media Encoder or Sorenson Squeeze…

I made up some WME settings and uploaded them:

The “bit rate VBR (peak)” is a 2 pass encode setting. (in the second image)

    Hope that helps,
    Gecko
