Settings for Dual RAID05 (2 LUNS) – Fibernetix
Hi,
I have a 16 bay Fibernetix and am trying to create 2 LUNs RAID5 each. I believe my settings might be off and would like someone to confirm or deny them.
The problem is, when initialization is done, the second RAID seems to be crashing both the host box and Fibernetix. If I hookup the first LUN alone it works fine though. The box was working previously with a 1 LUN RAID5.
RAID,FIBER CHANNEL, LUN BASE, LUN:
RAID0, 0 , 0, 0
RAID1, 1 , 0, 1Thanks!

Have you tried contacting Fibernetix? I’d give them a shot considering the fact you paid for product & support.

Yes I did. There is a 12 hour difference and I was trying to get the
answer before that. Unfortunately I didn’t get it from the forum.There reply was to use:
0,0,0
and
1,0,0Thanks Again!

ok well that makes sense, but it’d take someone with your setup to get you an accurate answer. If it were me, the wait from the manufacturer would be worth the correct info.
