I just recently had to look up a trimmed past project and it showed
up all in red frames.I wanted to know of a solution and or should I
assign my drives differntly? I have my “C” Drive for all applications.
A mirrored scratch drive for the digitized video coming in. Someone
in the business said to assign the “Project all to 1 Harddrive”.
Then in the long run I won’t have issues with opening a Trimmed Project. I hope this makes some sense. Please anyone for their thoughts. Is there a right way and wrong way to setup your drives??

    i run c: drive for OS/applications only

drive 2: for P-pro proj files

and then I run a Raid-0 (striped) setup for my raw footage/assets and media cache files. Thats what I have always been told to do.

the raid-0 makes a BIG difference in access speed
