  Setting up Final Cut Pro+Powerbook+CRT monitor to check sync

  Hi
  Does anyone have any tips on how best to set up a CRT monitor (TV), I want to be able to check sync on a non computer monitor, what are the best set ups? My TV has composite video/audio inputs and my Powerbook has a S-Video to composite adaptor. Thanks \
