I am trying to set up a render for a client in after effects. Below is the information they have given me as per size, however I am not sure what values i need to give the options in after effects to set this up:

    DPX file at 2K resolution:
Also, the film rate is 23.98 & the original aspect ratio is 2.30.

What should my composition size be for 2K and how to i set the aspectratio to 2.3 ?

    Any help would be appreciated!

Traditionally a 2K film scan is 2048×1556 with square pixels. If they have shot anamorphic then you need to change the pixel aspect ratio.

Other wise you shot will just be letterboxed to that ratio that they mentioned. 2.35:1 is a pretty common crop for a non-anamorphic 2K format.
