We are “printing to tape” with HDV sequences to our Z1U VTR. We are running into an “out of memory” error message during the transcoding process. I am trying to find out how to set the destination drive for when it is trancoding. The timeline we are transcoding and printing to tape is 32 minutes long. I’m sure it needs a lot of HD space to handle that. Any suggestions?

    thanks,
    Tim

13gb per hour is all HDV uses.

Yes, but is there a way to designate where that 13 gigs will be placed during the brief trancoding process or does it just default to the main application HD?

    Thanks,
    Tim
