I cant assign the F1 key as a shortcut to one of my actions (only F2 and above are available in the drop down menu), how can I set to F1?

Are you on Windows or a Mac? On my mac F1 is available but on my Windows machine F1 is system reserved for help and support. You can disable that in the BIOS but you’ll need to lookup instructions on doing so for your specific BIOS.
