    Hello
i am adding some effects to an HDV clip (1440×1080) 24p.

I created a composition manually, because i couldnt find a preset for my footage. the one i found is HDV 1080/25. is that the one i should use?

when i am exporting as a quicktime movie its says “quality: Mediaum”
i have the quality playback set as “full”.
what setting do i need to choose? or what do i need to change? to export it as 1440×1080 24p full resolution.

    thank you very much
    Leon.

[Dave LaRonde] Choose any one of the five pulldown patterns you see. I’m lazy, so I ususally choose the first one. “

So do I, but mostly because it’s easy to remember if I have to figure it out later. I always use the first pattern.

    But I’m also lazy.

I’m having the same situation but i return back to final cut to do some lat min edits. Playback ends up lagging big time so exporting on NTCS DVCPRO 1080i seems to help play back just fine the only problem I have is then I have to constantly render whenever I do slight changes on FCP. Is there another export option you would recommend? this way I not only dont lose the quality of the export from AE, and still be able to edit last min touches in FCP? I know it sounds like a lot lol
