    Hello,

I am using Sony Vegas Pro 14 and am looking for a way to set a specific text speed (character-by-character). Currently, I am doing it using Protype Titler with the selection tool, however with that you can only set a time for the animation to finish and not a speed. This means that shorter sentences appear much slower than longer sentences, which I would really like to avoid.

    Thanks!

Since there is no speed option, try using the Velocity Envelope to slow the animations down to your
taste and see if it works and still looks ok.
